MF Global Holdings Ltd., the troubled securities firm, has hired bankruptcy and restructuring lawyers, said people familiar with the matter, as it races to sell all or part of its broker-dealer in an effort to survive.

Oggi dovrebbe esserci un violento aumento della volatilità anche a causa delle posizioni che dovranno essere chiuse improvvisamente per la fine di MF Global (notizia ignorata totalmente, ma decisamente importante, ricordo che è il più grosso broker mondiale in derivati) causa Chapter 11, anche se i grossi se ne saranno sicuramente già andati nei mesi scorsi.
Ovviamente ci sarà un take-over, è scontato, altrimenti il sistema imploderebbe a catena in pochi minuti ancora peggio che nella saga Lehman (anzi, sarebbe già imploso nei giorni scorsi).
